For 10 years, I co-taught an annual workshop “Publishing the Photographic Book” with National Geographic photographer Sam Abell and book editor Leah Bendavid-Val. During this intensive workshop, we helped photographers edit and shape their long-term photo projects into preliminary comps. I also worked with photographers beyond the workshop to realize the dream of having printed photo books.
